Gladstone/Oak Lodge Rotary Club gives over $2,000 in grants through the Pizza Schmizza HELP grants program

The Gladstone/Oak Lodge Rotary Club has awarded over $2,000 in grants to Gladstone Schools through the Pizza Schmizza HELP grants program.

The Kraxberger Gearheads robotics club is one beneficiary of grant money invested by the Gladstone/Oak Lodge Rotary. Pictured are Kraxberger Middle School students Logan Gough, Rose Kurzenhauser and Ben Lau. The group provided:

1. $600 to the STEM Club at John Wetten Elementary

2. $600 to the Gearheads Robotics Club at Kraxberger Middle School

3. $600 to the Gladstone Center for Children & Families for kindergarten T-shirts

4. $250 to John Wetten Elementary for Battle of the Books T-shirts.

"We're excited to be able to support education in our community," said Rotary President Steve Leitz. "These kids are our future."
