Ogden Middle School kids help Oregon Food Bank
On April 3, 48 students from the Ogden Middle School Student Council volunteered at the Oregon Food Bank, which provides free food to a network of food assistance sites across Oregon.
"Together, the students packed over 19,500 pounds of turnips and onions in about two hours," said language arts teacher Tonya Divers. "We feel good that we provided 16,263 total meals —196 meals per volunteer."
