Dumped ATM spurs Clackamas Sheriff investigation
ATMs are a frequent target of theft — but this lonely automated teller machine was seemingly left for dead.
The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is seeking information from the public after deputies discovered the busted-up device in the "middle of the road" near the county line bordering Portland.
Police sent out news of the discovery on Southeast 62nd Avenue south of Clatsop Street around 10 a.m. on Monday, June 3.
Anyone with information about the ATM is asked to call 503-655-8211 and reference case number 19-012863.
