Clackamas County officials to host tours of Concord School during community gathering Nov. 16

Clackamas County plans to construct a new community center, park and libraries in the Oak Lodge and Gladstone communities.

COURTESY PHOTO - Clackamas County officials are eyeing the former Concord School in Oak Grove as a site for a new library and park.Community members are invited to attend a family-friendly open house to learn more about the project and provide input on different programs and services they would like to see once construction begins in 2022.

Community members are encouraged to drop by to learn about the project, share their ideas from noon-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, and take a tour of the former Concord School, 3811 S.E. Concord Road, Oak Grove.

There will be music, kids' crafts and activities, dessert, apple cider and more.
