Residents can donate to December effort to help families in need through a GoFundMe account.

Gladstone residents have collected and distributed food and toy for more than the past 20 holiday seasons, with generous support from businesses, service clubs, private donations and the Gladstone School District.

You can donate money toward the purchase of toys and gift cards for families in need before Dec. 14 at Gladstone Fire will pick up food boxes at the Sunshine Division on Dec. 15 and distribute them Dec. 17-18.

Gladstone's Senior Center will serve as the distribution point for the program this year.
