Eagle Creek resident has served on Board of Directors since 2017 and is the group's current president.


Unofficial results show that voters elected Eagle Creek resident Jay Cross to Clackamas Fire Position 4. Results updated after 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, showed that Cross garnered 65.5%, and Glenn Watcher received 34%.

Cross, who is currently president of the Clackamas Fire Board, has served on the board since 2017 and is an EMS officer for Gresham Fire. He also served on the Boring Fire Board prior to the department's integration with Clackamas Fire.

A resident of Clackamas, Watcher is the associate vice president at Providence St. Joseph Health and serves as the chairman of the board for Parrot Creek Child & Family Services. He's worked in health care leadership for 25 years.
