Clackamas County needs 3,321 more inoculations to move into low-risk category

Clackamas County and Providence Health Services will host a COVID-19 vaccine clinic for anyone age 12 and older from 3-7 p.m. Monday, June 21, at Gladstone High School, 18800 Portland Ave.PMG PHOTO: EMILY LINDSTRAND - Checking in is the first step after arrival at COVID-19 vaccination clinics, like the one last month at the Estacada Community Center.

Drop-in visitors are welcome. To book an appointment for a specific time, visit web3.clackamas.us/schedule/start.jsp?type=phvac. First responders from both the Gladstone Police and Gladstone Fire Department will assist.

"This is an opportunity for students to build immunity to COVID-19 so they are ready for full-day, in-person school this fall," said event coordinator Leslie Robinette. "We also invite students' adult family members to get a free vaccine."

The Pfizer vaccine will be given by medical professionals from Providence Health Services. Parental permission is required for those age 12 to 14. Download the consent form in English or Spanish at clackamas.us. A second dose of the vaccine will be provided to participants from 3-7 p.m. Monday, July 12, at the same location.
