Watson most recently served as senior executive director of Dial Senior Living where he oversaw all operations at the senior living community in Boulder, Colorado.

Before establishing a career in the senior living profession, Watson served as director of choral activities at Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa, for 15 years, overseeing budgets, curriculum and strategic vision for the department. He also served as president of the Iowa Choral Directors Association.

Watson has a master's degree from the University of South Dakota and a bachelor's degree from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.
