The Rams capitalized on three second-quarter fumbles to take a 28-7 halftime lead before holding on late to down the Pioneers

Trailing 14-7, the Pioneers fumbled the ball away on three consecutive possession in the final 7:12 of the first half and the Rams scored twice to take a 28-7 halftime lead.

The Rams almost scored three times, but their kicker hit the right upright on a 26-yard field goal attempt.

Despite the deficit, Oregon City climbed back within a touchdown when Jayden Shaffer scored on a 55-yard intercpetion return to make it 42-35 with 6:26.

The Pioneers got the ball back when the Rams failed to convert on fourth-and-2 from the OC 43 with 3:30 remaining, but ran three plays before they too failed to convert on fourth down, ending their comeback bid.
