Clackamas gets the winning points on a last-second field goal by Jeffrey Nelson

Second-ranked Clackamas won its first-ever state football championship on Saturday, battling past No. 5 South Medford 31-30 at Reser Stadium in Corvallis.

With the win, Mt. Hood Conference champion Clackamas concluded its first perfect season at 14-0 overall. South Medford, meanwhile, saw its season end at 12-2 overall after previously winning the Southwest Conference championship.
