Quarterback Payton Westerholm's 33-yard touchdown run helped put the game out of reach with 10:45 to play Saturday

PAMPLIN MEDIA: JIM BESEDA - Gladstone's Spencer Boyd had 11 carries for 61 yards and caught three passes for 22 yards in Saturday's 23-19 loss to Seaside in the semifinals of the OSAA Class 4A football playoffs.Here are some photos from Saturday's Gladstone-Seaside Class 4A football semifinal game at Hillsboro Stadium.

Both teams scored three touchdowns, but Seaside converted a pair of two-point conversions and kicked one PAT to score a 23-19 victory over Gladstone.

Trailing 16-13, Gladstone failed to convert a fourth-and-2 play from its own 28-yard line with 11:42 to play in the fourth quarter.

Seaside turned around and scored two plays later to essentially put the game out of reach with 10:45 to play.

The Seagulls (10-1) advanced to next Saturday's 6 p.m. championship game against Banks (10-1).

Gladstone ended the season with an 8-3 record.
