The No. 5 Falcons defeated No. 3 Springfield 55-48 in Saturday's OSAA Class 5A championship final and clinched their fourth state title in seven seasons

Addi Wedin scored a team-high 18 points to lead three players in double figures for the Falcons, who never trailed after opening a 22-19 halftime lead.

It was the sixth time La Salle Prep had reached the finals in the past seven seasons, having won a 4A title in 2013, followed by 5A titles in 2015 and 2017.
