McNett, a junior outfielder, wins a berth on the all-state first team for 2022.

The Oregon School Activities Association released the Class 4A all-state softball teams on Thursday, July 7, and two of Gladstone's best made the list.

   Honored on Class 4A all-state teams were junior outfielders Delaney McNett and Kendall Trappe. McNett won a spot on the 4A all-state first team, while Trappe was named to the Honorable Mention team.

Together, McNett and Trappe helped lead the Gladiators to a 9-7 record and a fourth-place finish in the Tri-Valley Conference, and a 9-14 overall record.

The top Class 4A honors: Co-Players of the Year were Cascade senior infielder Crystal Campbell and Marist junior outfielder Paige Doerr; Pitcher of the Year was Marist senior Malia Williams; and Coach of the Year was Cascade's Marty Jeppsen.
