David Emami stood up to Scouters Mountain development
In 2017, David Emami as a private citizen stood up to the developers of the Scouters Mountain housing development. He and others pointed out that it was poorly planned and wiped out the dense forest that Boy Scouts had enjoyed for generations. The development had been planned behind closed doors and then sprung on the citizens at the last minute without their input. He vowed that future developments must be more transparent and involve the community in their planning.
Now, Councilor David Emami sits on the City Council of Happy Valley with the same philosophy, that developments must involve the citizens in their planning and City Hall must take citizens voices into account.
I strongly support Councilor David Emami for reelection because of his commitment to transparency and citizen involvement.
