City receives another $97,000 to disperse for financial aid; in two previous rounds city awarded $167,000 in grants to 56 businesses

Milwaukie officials are providing a third round of small business grants for the nonprofit and business community.

In two previous rounds of grant funding, city officials awarded $167,000 in grants to 56 businesses.

Eligible businesses must have a current Milwaukie business license and fewer than 25 employees. Nonprofit organizations must be registered as a 501(c)(3).

Eligible for-profit and nonprofit corporations had to have been prohibited from operation as directed by Executive Order 20-12 or must demonstrate reduced revenues due to the pandemic.

For this third round of relief, the city anticipates notifying grant recipients in early November with funding available to businesses in later November.

The application period is open from 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19, through 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23. For more information, email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
