Early Literacy Event
Learn about what the library has to offer for young children who are not yet reading. The Clackamas Early Learning Education HUB, the Clackamas Education Service District and the Estacada Public Library will host an early literacy event from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 11, at 825 N.W. Wade St. Activities for adults and children to do together will be available in both English and Spanish. A light dinner will be served from 6-6:30 p.m. and door prizes will also be available.
High School Art Events
The Estacada High School Circle Art Club's annual showcase will be featured from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. Friday, May 19, in the school commons. An artists reception will be held from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, May 20, in the commons.
Spring Party at Aslan's How

Upper Clackamas Whitewater Festival
The annual Upper Clackamas Whitewater Festival is scheduled for May 20-21. The event features a variety of competitive whitewater events and educational clinics. The "Get Crafty" group at the Estacada library meets from 3-4:30 p.m. Wednesdays through May 17. If you enjoy crocheting, knitting, quilting, cross stitching, scrap booking or any other craft, bring it with you to the Flora Room and join in. No registration is required.
Fathers Day Motorcycle Show

Fire District Open House
Members of the Estacada Rural Fire District will host their annual Open House from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at 261 S.E. Fifth Ave.
Estacada Uncorked, the annual family-friendly wine, food and microbrew event, is scheduled from 4-9 p.m. Saturday, June 24, on Broadway Street. Admission is $15 for adults, and children may attend for free. Admission price includes a commemorative glass and live music.

Estacada fire holds a community coffee at 9 a.m the first Tuesday of each month at the fire station, 445 S.E. Currin St. Meet firefighters and staff, ask questions and learn about the district.
Wednesday Senior Lunches
Grace Place Assisted Living offers lunch for all local seniors every Wednesday. Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. in the Grace Place dining hall and is followed by bingo. Lunch is $4, and bingo is $1. Grace Place is at 380 N.W. Sixth Ave.

Blood pressure checks
There will be free and confidential blood pressure checks from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, May 18, at the center.

Free Saturday breakfast
Estacada Community Outreach will host a free breakfast from 8-11 a.m. Saturday, May 20 at center. All are welcome.
Dessert, live music
An evening of coffee and dessert, live music perform-ed by the Classic Country Connection and dancing will be held starting at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at the center. The cost is $4. There will be a 50/50 raffle to benefit Meals on Wheels.
Zumba classes are held at the center from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday evenings and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. some Saturday mornings. Zumba is $5 per class, or $25 for a monthly pass. Call 503-680-4338 for more information.

Exercise to music for all fitness levels on Tuesday and Thursday evenings with Susan Wagner at the center from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Weekday lunches and games
Lunch is served in the center's dining room for all ages at noon on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with full salad bar on Tuesdays and Fridays. Donations are suggested for seniors; lunch is $4 for those under 60. Chicken foot dominoes follows Monday and Thursday lunches. Bingo follows lunch on Tuesday and Friday.
