Estacada Rural CPO

Garage and Craft Sale
Members of the Estacada Area Support Our Troops Foundation will host a garage and craft sale from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, March 9, and Saturday, March 10, at Odd Fellows Hall. There will be 13 tables of items, and there will be a raffle prize drawing each day at 3 p.m. with an additional 50/50 raffle drawing Saturday at 3 p.m. Complimentary coffee and tea will be provided. Proceeds from the event will go toward the maintenance of the Estacada Veterans Memorial and the American Legion Riders.
Easter Egg Hunt
The Estacada Fire Volunteer Association will sponsor the community Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, at the Estacada Football Stadium, 500 N.E. Main St. On hunt day, the football stadium is divided by age for toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, first, second, and third grades, and an area for children of all ages with special needs. Donations to help cover the cost of the event can be dropped off at the Fire Station, 445 S.E. Jeremy Loveless Avenue, or mailed to the Estacada Fire Volunteer Association, PO Box 608, Estacada. Beginning Vinyasa and Hatha yoga classes are held at 2:30 p.m. Mondays and 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Voila Community Club, 22364 S. Redland Road. Classes are suited for all skill levels. The cost is $5 per class.
Children's Bible Class
Bible Release, hosted by Estacada Assembly of God, is a multi-church program for children in kingerdarten through fifth grade that runs from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesdays through April 25. Book Nook Dollar Sale
The Book Nook, 155 S.W. Third Ave., will hold its Dollar Sale this month. During the sale, all of the store's books cost $1 or less. The store typically has the sale during March and October.
The Estacada Garden Club meets from 1-3 p.m. the second Thursday of the month in the Flora Room at the Estacada Public Library, 825 N.W. Wade St. Visitors and new members are welcome.

Texas Hold'em Poker
A free Texas Hold'em Poker game is from 7-9 p.m. every Thursday at the Country Restaurant, 341 Main St. Another game with mad poker is at 7 p.m. Mondays at the Cazadero Inn, 352 S.W. Highway 224. Prizes are included.
The Estacada Area Food Bank is open from 10-11:45 a.m. and 12:30-3:45 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays. Food is available monthly to community members in Estacada, Eagle Creek, Colton, Carver and Barton who meet income requirements. The next Estacada Chamber of Commerce Leadership Luncheon is scheduled from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at City Hall. Estacada School District Superintendent Ryan Carpenter will speak.
The Estacada Cemetery District meets at 4 p.m. the first Thursday of each month at City Hall, 475 S.E. Main St. The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 5.

Practice your Spanish skills at a friendly environment in the library's Flora Room. The event is scheduled from 1-2 p.m. some Saturdays from March through May at 825 N.W, Wade St. It will take place March 17, March 31, April 14, May 5 and May 19.
A-Z storytime is scheduled for 11 a.m. to noon every Wednesday. The event is an opportunity for children ages infant to 4 to learn the alphabet through reading, singing and playing.
The Me & My Preschool Storytime Playgroup takes place from 10:30 a.m. to noon every Friday.
Music and Movement Storytime
Me & My Music, a music and movement focused storytime, is held from 11 a.m. to noon on Mondays. The program helps children develop early literacy skills through sound and rhythm using song, story and intruments.

From 6:30-8 p.m. Friday, March 16, hear from Master Gardener Cindy Manselle about chickens and gardens.
An Alcoholics Anonymous group meets from 7-8 p.m. every Thursday at the Assembly of God Church, 478 N.W. Wade St. Another AA group meets from 7-8:30 p.m. Mondays and Fridays at the church annex at 297 N.W. Broadway St. This group also holds a speaker's meeting on the first Friday of the month.

The Grief Share group is there for people who have lost a close friend or loved one, helping to turn mourning into acceptance and to remind them of the joy that remains in life. There will be a Saint Patrick's Day celebration and fundraiser with irish dinner, live music and a raffle from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, March 17. Cost is $8 per person.
