The American Legion Carl Douglas Post will host a bingo night fundraiser at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at the Estacada Community Center, 200 S.W. Clubhouse Drive. Tickets are $18 and include dinner and 10 bingo game cards. Tickets should be purchased in advance at the Community Center.
Milo McIver Anniversary
Milo McIver State Park will celebrate its 50th anniversary on Saturday, June 9, starting at at 5:30 p.m. at the Milo McIver Memorial Viewpoint. Speakers will include Oregon Parks and Recreation Department Deputy director MG Devereux and Milo McIver's grandson Malcolm McIver. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. and feature Bend-based classical pianist Hunter Noack. Admission to the event is free, and parking costs $5 for the day.
Art in the Park
The Estacada Parks and Recreation Commission will sponsor a children's art and craft day at Wade Creek Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at Wade Creek Park. Estacada Uncorked, a food, wine and microbrews event with activities for children, is scheduled for 3-8 p.m. on Broadway Street in downtown Estacada. Tickets are $15 and include samples, live music and a commemorative wine glass.

The Estacada Area Food Bank is open from 10-11:45 a.m. and 12:30-3:45 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays. Food is available monthly to community members in Estacada, Eagle Creek, Colton, Carver and Barton who meet income requirements. Me & My Music, a music and movement focused storytime, is held from 11 a.m. to noon on Mondays. The program helps children develop early literacy skills through sound and rhythm using song, story and instruments.

Weekday lunches and games
Lunch is served in the center's dining room for all ages at noon on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, with a full salad bar on Tuesdays and Fridays. Donations are suggested for seniors; lunch is $4 for those under age 60. Chicken foot dominoes follows Monday and Thursday lunches. Bingo follows lunch on Tuesday and Friday. Dinner, Music and Dancing
The center hosts an evening of dinner, music and
dancing on the first and third Saturdays of the month,
with live music from the Classic Country Connections Band. The cost is $8 for dinner,
dancing and dessert, $4 for dessert and music or $3 for music.
Estacada Community Outreach hosts a free breakfast at the center from 8-11 a.m. the third Saturday of each month except December.
The center offers a $5 breakfast for all ages at 9 a.m. Wednesdays with a door prize drawing and pinochle and cribbage following breakfast for those interested. Call 503-630-7454 for bus service to breakfast.
