Register for annual Fourth of July parade

The theme of Estacada's Fourth of July parade this year is "Red, White and Blue." The parade is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 4, starting at Estacada High School, traveling down Main Street, up Broadway Street and back to the high school.

For those who wish to participate in the parade, registration forms are available at Participants are encouraged to register by Monday, July 2, because later registrations will be an additional charge. Entry forms can be submitted to Estacada City Hall, 475 S.E. Main St.

The event is sponsored by the Downtown Estacada Commission.

New hours announced for Estacada City Hall

Starting next month, Estacada City Hall will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and will be closed on Fridays.

City Hall is at 475 S.E. Main St.

Share feedback on state bikeways

The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department is seeking public input on the state's 17 scenic bikeways, including the Cascading Rivers bikeway near Estacada. Those who have ridden any of the bikeways are encouraged to complete the survey at

Survey results will be used for bikeway improvement plans.
