The Cazadero's grand opening is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 16. At the restaurant at 352 S.E. Highway 211, there will be a ribbon cutting with the Estacada Chamber of Commerce at 4 p.m.
Volunteers and staff at Philip Foster Farm National Historic Site will host a farm day from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18. There will be a farmers market, craft market and pioneer activities. Philip Foster Farm is at 22725 S.E. Eagle Creek Road.
Film at Milo McIver
Oregon State Parks and Oregon Film will team up for a screening of the 1968 rock documentary "Monterey Pop" at Milo McIver State Park. The event, facilitated in observance of the anniversary of the 1970 rock concert Vortex I, is scheduled from 9-10:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18. Both admission to the screening and parking at the park are free, and no tickets are required.
Summer Finally Got Here
The Aspen Meadow Band will host their annual concert and car show, "Summer Finally Got Here," starting at 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, at the Aspen Meadow Amphitheater, 24232 S. Upper Highland Road. The free event features music from the 1950s and 1960s, and a variety of vehicles from across the decades.
Troy Martin Real Estate will host an open house for the next phase of the Cascadia Ridge subdivision from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, at 1985 N.E. Currin Creek Drive. At 1:30 p.m., there will be a ribbon cutting by the Estacada Chamber of Commerce. There will also be a free taco lunch.
Barton Church will host the annual Cruise2Barton from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at 25400 S.E. Highway 224. The event, a fundraiser for the church's missions, will feature raffle drawings, live music by the Ron Carnes Band, vendors and games for children. Estacada High School Reunion
The Estacada High School All Alumni Reunion is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at Timber Park, 30878 N.W. Evergreen Way. Cost is $5 per family, and checks should be sent to EHS Class Reunion, 17521 S. Potter Road, Oregon City. The event is a potluck, and attendees should bring their favorite dish and their own drinks. No glass containers. Tableware and water will be provided. Tables are available, and participants should bring their own lawn chairs. The Performing Arts Group of Estacada (PAGE) is seeking submissions for their spring 2019 production. Lunch is served in the center's dining room for all ages at noon on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, with a full salad bar on Tuesdays and Fridays.
