The Downtown Estacada Commission will sponsor the Cascading Rivers Rides, a series of rides named after the Cascading Rivers Scenic Bikeway that spans 72 miles from Estacada to Detroit.

The Little Riffles Ride is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 30, and offers participants a shorter option on a relatively flat terrain, beginning at the Estacada City Hall Cycling Station Plaza or the Faraday West Hydro parking area. The Raging Rapids Rides, also scheduled for Sept. 30, takes cyclists further along the scenic bikeway, allowing participants to turn back after 35 or 52 miles.

New additions this year, include the Timothy Lake Gravel Rides, which are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 29. These routes will give cyclists the option of riding 32 or 84 miles along the bikeway. The Killer Fang Ride utilizes the entirety of the bikeway's 72 miles and lasts two days. Cyclists begin their journey in Estacada on Saturday, Sept. 29, and spend the night in Detroit before making the return trek.
