Estacada Rural Fire District hosts community ceremony at the local Veterans Memorial

Earlier this week, Estacada community members gathered to honor the lives lost in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Estacada Rural Fire District was host of a ceremony at the Estacada Veterans Memorial. There were moments of silence to mark the times when the two planes collided with the World Trade Center towers in New York City, and attendees shared their memories from the day 17 years ago.
