Community members gathered to celebrate Pacific Northwest Adult and Teen Challenge's Estacada location last weekend.

On Saturday, March 2, members of the Adult and Teen Challenge program hosted an open house, and the Estacada Chamber of Commerce coordinated a ribbon cutting.

Adult and Teen Challenge moved to the building at 380 N.W. Sixth Ave. last spring and offers a program for men who wish to recover from addiction. Participants receive a Christian-based curriculum that focuses on relapse prevention and can participate in personal devotion time, classes, group sessions and chapel. They also receive work experience at the program's thrift store on Southeast 82nd Avenue in Portland and several local businesses.

Adult and Teen Challenge USA was founded by David Wilkerson in 1958 and is a mission of the Assemblies of God Church.
