Members of the Eagle Creek Girl Scout Troop 45706 recently broke the clay.

On Saturday, June 1, Amber Haggstrom, Adelia Jeppeson, Lilly Mixon, Jasmine Fairchild and Emily Hall earned their clay target shooting badges at Douglas Ridge Rifle Club in Estacada.

The troop also includes Breanna Ruiz and Hannah Rank, who were unable to attend the event at Douglas Ridge. Most of the members have been with the group between seven and 10 years.

"Now that they're senior members, they can choose the experiences they want to have, and this is something they wanted to do together," said Lesa Haggstrom, who coordinated the event.
