American Legion Cruise-In
DJ Jonny Blaze's third annual River Fest is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 6, at Promontory Park, 40600 S.W. Highway 224. The day will feature artists performing in genres from hip hop and rock to pop and classical, along with kayak and miniature paddle boat races, a giant water balloon fight, boxing on the water and a variety of refreshments for purchase.
Star Gazing Party
At 9 p.m. Friday, July 12, Rose City Astronomers will stop by Timber Park, 30878 N.W. Evergreen Way, for a star gazing party.

Route 26 Cruisers Car Show
Beginning vinyasa and hatha yoga classes are held at 2:30 p.m. Mondays and 7 p.m. Tuesdays at the Viola Community Club, 22364 S. Redland Road. Classes are suited for all skill levels. The cost is $5 per class.

The Estacada Area Food Bank is open from 10-11:45 a.m. and 12:30-3:45 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays. Food is available monthly to community members in Estacada, Eagle Creek, Colton, Carver and Barton who meet income requirements. Music and Movement Storytime with Ms. Deborah
Scheduled from 11-11:45 a.m. Tuesdays, this storytime uses music and movement to help children develop early literacy skills.
Summer Learning Week
From 1:30-3:30 p.m. Monday, July 8, through Friday, July 12, Summer Learning Week will feature a variety of hands-on and educational projects.
At 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, attendees will make block creations that move using LEGO Technic and power functions.
At 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, participants ages 10-18 will create felted aliens with artist LeBrie Rich. Pre-registration is required, and the event is limited to 25 people.
At 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, the Creature Teachers will return to the Estacada library for a presentation about exotic animals.
Museum of Natural and Cultural History Presentation
At 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, the Museum of Natural and Cultural History will connect attendees with experiments about what makes Earth special.
End of Summer Reading Party
At 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, all are invited to celebrate the end of the Summer Reading program with crafts and popsicles.
An Alcoholics Anonymous group meets from 7-8 p.m. every Thursday at the Estacada First Baptist Church, 29101 S.E. Eagle Creek Road. Another AA group meets from 7-8:30 p.m. Mondays and Fridays at Saint Aloysius Hall, 297 N.W. Broadway St. This group also holds a speaker's meeting on the first Friday of the month.

The Grief Share group is there for people who have lost a close friend or loved one, helping to turn mourning into acceptance and to remind them of the joy that remains in life. Weekday Lunches and Games
Lunch is served in the center's dining room for all ages at noon on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, with a full salad bar on Tuesdays and Fridays. Donations are suggested for seniors; lunch is $4 for those under age 60. Chicken foot dominoes follows Monday and Thursday lunches. Bingo follows lunch on Tuesday and Friday.
