Videos sought for safety contest
The Oregon Young Employee Safety Coalition is sponsoring a video contest for high school students, the theme of which is "Speak up. Work Safe." Videos must promote safety in the workplace, inspire young workers to do at least one thing differently to stay safe on the job and be 90 seconds or less in length.
The top three entries will be awarded $300 to $500. Judgement criteria includes an original health and safety message, production value and integration of the theme.
Submission deadline is Friday, Feb. 7. For more information, visit www.youngemployeesafety.org/contest.
