If you've ever wondered about the effect that temperature has on rubber bands, how heat changes the height of popcorn and the influence of the app TikTok on memory, a recent event at Estacada Middle School answered those questions.

The school hosted a science night on Thursday, Dec. 12. During the gathering, student science projects were on display for community members. Additional questions explored whether a fidget spinner influenced memory and which apples had the best taste.

Attendees also participated in demonstrations related to radioactivity, static electricity, taste testing and frog dissection.
