Valentine's Day festivities abound in Estacada area
With Valentine's Day around the corner, there are several opportunities to celebrate love with a local flair. Special dinners and events for children are among the opportunities to spend the Feb. 14 holiday in town. Here are a few happenings.
Bean and Bloom: Blush and Roses Flower Shop and Planet Cup of Joe have teamed up for Estacada's first Bean and Bloom event. Have a combination of coffee and flowers delivered to your special someone in Estacada and Eagle Creek on Valentine's Day. Chocolate Covered Strawberries: Blush and Roses Flower Shop will offer chocolate covered strawberries for delivery on Valentine's Day in Estacada and Eagle Creek. The strawberries are $9 for a box of four and $15 for a box of nine. For more information, call 503-630-3374.
Dinner at the Estacada Moose Lodge: The Estacada Moose Lodge will host a steak and chicken dinner from 4-10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14. Those who are interested must RSVP by Wednesday, Feb. 12. The Moose Lodge is at 29788 S.E. Eagle Creek Road. For more information, call 503-630-5415.
Dinner at the Eagle Creek Grange: The Eagle Creek Grange will host a sweetheart dinner at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, with music from the Old Time Fiddlers. The menu includes ham, cheesy potatoes, salad, green beans, rolls and pie. Cost is $8 per person. The Eagle Creek Grange is at 24491 S.E. Eagle Creek Road.
Valentines Parent's Night Out: From 6-11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, Crescendo Dance Studio will offer activities for children to give parents an opportunity to have a night out. The evening will include dancing, games, storytime and a movie. Cheese pizza and apple juice will be provided. Attendees are encouraged to dress in active wear and bring blankets and a pillow for the movie. Cost is $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Crescendo Dance Studio is at 373 S.
