The change, which is currently in effect through April, is for Estacada Water Utility customers

Because of economic difficulties caused by the COVID-19 outbreak, the city of Estacada will not charge late fees or suspend service for unpaid water bills.

The change is for Estacada Water Utility customers and is currently in effect through April.

"While water bills are due on the 20th of the month, we understand that this is a time of great uncertainty for all, with a heavier impact on some than others," city leaders wrote on a Facebook post.

Those who can pay their bill can do so online or by mailing a check to Estacada City Hall, 475 S.E. Main St. Though City Hall is closed through Monday, April 6, checks can also be left at the dropbox near the building's front door.
