Help us celebrate the 2020 high school graduate in your life
Local high school seniors will miss out this year on some of the important traditions that celebrate and showcase their academic accomplishments — but some things are still possible.
Each year, The Outlook and Sandy Post produce keepsake graduation sections, listing high school graduates and including photos taken during commencement ceremonies. While we won't be able to take those photos this year, we are moving ahead with publication of the 2020 Graduation sections.
But we're going to need your help to pull this off.
We are inviting parents, family members and friends to purchase "Congratulatory" spaces that can be tailored to individual graduates. (See the example included with this post). We're intentionally keeping the price low, so that it can be affordable to most families. The proceeds from these sales will offset the cost of assembling the section, printing and delivery.
We'll need the graduate's name, school, several candid photo that we can work with, and the congratulatory message.
These sections will be distributed on June 10 in The Outlook and Sandy Post.
Please help us make this possible by purchasing a personalized "Congratulations" space.
We need to hear from as many people as possible by May 21.
These young people are missing out on plenty already. Let's make sure they don't have to miss out on everything.
Also please help us get the word out about this opportunity by sharing this post with your friends on social media.
