Leaders on the Mt. Hood National Forest are seeking proposals from those interested in managing Bagby Hot Springs.

Located about 40 miles southeast of Estacada in the Clackamas River Ranger District, Bagby Hot Springs features two bath houses, two tool sheds, a cabin, bunkhouse and an 18-site campground. Several buildings need repairs and renovation.

"I am looking forward to seeing submitted proposals with the creative concepts people have for this site," said Clackamas River District Ranger Jackie Groce. "This is a great opportunity to bring new ideas to a place used by generations of forest visitors."

Proposals should be submitted by Wednesday, Sept. 9, and can be found at fs.usda.gov/goto/mthood/rfei.
