Leaders in Estacada's art community are seeking community input as they plan for the 2021 Summer Celebration.

The Estacada Area Arts Commission and the Estacada Summer Celebration Planning Committee have launched an online survey to determine interest in activities for the event.

"As we emerge from the pandemic, our need for art and community is stronger than ever. While there are many unknowns, we believe we can still celebrate Estacada, summer and the arts safely and creatively this year," the survey stated.

Proposed activities include community-created art installations, street labyrinths, neighborhood chalk walks, Zoom art workshops, Zoom artist studio tours, an open air art gallery and an online writer's circle.

"Our goals this year are to involve the community in the creation, display and celebration of art, to encourage an explosion of art around town and throughout the neighborhoods and to celebrate Estacada, summer and the arts safely and with joy," the survey said.
