Police: Beavercreek man dead in Portland shooting
Portland Police Bureau officers continue to investigate a shooting that left one man dead and another person wounded.
Tyler Turpin, 25, was found dead at the scene by paramedics responding to the Saturday, Feb. 20 shooting near Northeast 54th Avenue and Fremont Street in the city's Cully neighborhood around 9:38 p.m.
Turpin lived in the Beavercreek area, per records.
Police say the other victim who was wounded in the shooting is "recovering." No other information was released by investigators, but detectives continue to work the case.
