A two-person crew from Estacada has traveled to the incident on the Fremont-Winema National Forest.

Firefighters from Estacada have joined a team from Clackamas County to help fight the Bootleg Fire in Klamath County.

On Saturday, July 10, a two-person crew and a brush truck from Estacada joined firefighters from Clackamas Fire, Canby Fire District, Lake Oswego Fire Department, Sandy Fire and Colton Fire in a task force organized by the Oregon Office of State Fire Marshal Incident Management Team.

A total of 1,027 personnel have been deployed to the Bootleg Fire, which began Tuesday, July 6, on the Fremont-Winema National Forest. The incident is around 11 miles northeast of the town of Sprague River and spans 153,535 acres.
