College in Oregon City will host a variety of musical performances this upcoming holiday season

Music students at Clackamas Community College will soon bring a variety of holiday music to listeners.

During the upcoming season of concerts at the school, students will perform everything from acoustic to choral to jazz.

Unless otherwise noted, events are in the Niemeyer Osterman Theatre at the school's Oregon City campus, 19600 Molalla Ave. Admission is $5.

Instrumental Jazz Night: At 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, the Clackamas Community College Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo will perform both traditional and modern selections.

Contemporary Music Ensemble Concert: At 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, the school's Contemporary Music Ensemble will play music from the 1950s to current songs.

Wind Ensemble Concert: At 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, the college's Wind Ensemble will be joined by the Guitar Ensemble and play both classical and contemporary pieces.

Mainstream and Chamber Choir: At 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, in Niemeyer Room 119, CCC's Chamber and Mainstream choirs will perform Australian and traditional holiday music.
