Estacada's holiday spirit shines bright during parade
Santa Claus and snowmen could be seen driving through Estacada during a festive gathering last week.
The Estacada Holiday Light Parade, in its second year, made its way through town during the evening of Friday, Dec. 13. Motorhomes, cars, trucks, vans and other vehicles were covered with bright lights and other holiday decor. They gathered in the Estacada library parking lot before making their way to Whispering Pines, downtown Estacada and other destinations. Participants waved to onlookers and wished them a Merry Christmas.
In 2018, the parade had six participants. This year, organizers said, that number more than doubled.
