Work from three artists will be featured at the Spiral Gallery this month.
Sue Dumolt, Julie Cooper and Louise Stivers collaborated for the show "Just for Fun," which will hang in the gallery at 341 S. Broadway St. through the end of November.
"We're all friends, and a show is a lot of work," Dumolt said, noting that the group signed up for this time slot around two years ago. "Dividing it three ways is less work."
The show features jewelry, photography and tie-dyed items.
Stivers said that some of her favorite photos in the show are a group called "Seasons" that represent winter, spring, summer and fall. Dumolt appreciates the way in which the stones on some pieces of her jewelry reflect light.
Cooper noted that much of her jewelry in the show has an eclectic feel.
"It's a blend of everything, and not just one style," she said.
All three artists appreciate seeing their work featured together.
"It's art in all of its different expressions. I love it," Dumolt said.
"People who are visual will really love the collaboration," Stivers added.
All three artists appreciate community members' reactions to their work.
"It's always fun to hear people enjoying it," Stivers said.
Cooper encouraged people to explore different items than they usually might when purchasing from the show.
"Step out of your comfort zone," she said.
