Events

Children's Day — Celebrate reading and children with crafts and a book giveaway. 1-3 p.m. Saturday, April 30. Estacada Public Library, 825 N.W. Wade St.

Shred event — Shred those old financial documents. Three grocery bags or two banker boxes. Please no rubber bands, plastic bags, binders, paper clips, metal or DVDs. Donations welcome. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 7. Drive thru in front of the Fire Station, 261 S.E. Fifth Ave.

One Page Wednesday — Writers will read a single page of their work and anyone can also read a single page of their own writing. 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 11. Harmony, 221 S.W. Wade St.

World Collage Day — Pick up a collage kit at the Estacada Library until April 30. Then return your finished collage by May 13 and three prize winners will be selected (child, teen, adult). Enjoy activities with Art in the Park (below). 825 N.W. Wade St.

Art in the Park — K-12 students can sell their art, plus make and take arts and crafts. 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14. Wade Creek Park, 747 N.W. Wade St. See city web page for rules and required permission slip.

Journey Down the Clackamas — The series of biweekly free webinars, administered by the Clackamas River Basin Council on Zoom, continues through May 31. For more information and to register, visit clackamasriver.org.

Cruise In — See cool old cars, hear music, participate in a drawing, silent auction and vendors. Fundraiser for the Estacada Food Bank. 11 a.m to 3 p.m. Saturday, August 6. Registration to show a car is $15. Timber Park, 30878 N.W. Evergreen Way and Hwy. 224. Hosted by The Route 26 Cruisers.

Pickleball — Estacada First Baptist Church hosts pickleball from 5-7 p.m. Tuesdays; 8-10 a.m. Thursdays; and 8-10 a.m. Saturdays. The events are open to anyone and take place in the church's gymnasium, 29101 S.E. Eagle Creek Road.

Grief Group — Clackamas Valley Baptist Church hosts a grief group at 2 p.m. Mondays at 29275 S.E. Eagle Creek Road.

Community Breakfast — Estacada Community Outreach hosts a free breakfast from 8-11 a.m. the third Saturday of each month at Clackamas Valley Baptist Church, located at 29275 S.E. Eagle Creek Road. For more information, call 503-630-5484.

Take off Pounds Sensibly — TOPs meets 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays at the Estacada Community Center, 200 S.W. Club House Drive.

Library hours — The library building at 825 N.W. Wade St. is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays; from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesdays; 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays. Me and My Preschool Playgroup and Storytime — The group meets 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the library. Preregistration is required.
