The Rangers senior duo has combined to win more than 50 bouts heading into Regionals

ESTACADA NEWS: MATT RAWLINGS - Estacada seniors Justin Drury, left, and Draco Yandell are expected to contend for weight-class titles at this weekends Regional tournament. As Estacada prepares for the 4A Special District 1 wrestling meet this weekend — as well as the 4A state tournament the following weekend — the Rangers will rely heavily on two of their senior studs.

Draco Yandell and Justin Drury are a combined 54-8 (.871) this season — Yandell is 26-5 and Drury is 28-3 — and both have a legitimate chance to take home a state title in their respective weight divisions.

"Watching them grow and learn what their strengths are has been awesome from my point of view," Estacada head coach Brandon Lohmeier said. "Draco is one of the most versatile wrestlers I've ever coached. I can wrestle him at 170, 182 and even bump him up to 195. Justin, on the other hand, likes to cut weight and compete in the smaller divisions, which is good because he can dominate at that level."

Check out Drury, Yandell and the rest of the Estacada squad as the compete this Friday and Saturday at Regionals hosted by Molalla High School.
