The Estacada girls track team swept a pair of Tri-Valley team duals 85-60 over Crook County and 90-43 over Molalla at its home track last week.

The Rangers distance crew did the bulk of the damage with Pia Schwenke leading a 1-2-3 sweep in the 1,500-meter race early in the day. She completed the almost four laps in 5:40.39, followed by teammates Cheyenne Abbett and Loryn Young. Abbett combined with Lily Avants for a 1-2 finish in the 3,000 late on the rainy day, winning the race in 12:33.90.

The Rangers distance crew outscored the Cowgirls 20-7, while keeping Molalla off the scoreboard completely in those races.

? The Estacada boys earned a split at the three-way meet, defeating Molalla 89-47 but falling 96-43 to Crook County.

Estacada goes to Portland Christian on Thursday for a meet that also includes Castle Rock along with Tri-Valley foe Corbett.
