She was ninth at the 2019 state meet.
The PIL's Cleveland and Franklin, two of the better Class 6A boys teams during the nine-game season, played to a 3-3 draw on Tuesday.
Lincoln (5-0-2) has been dominant, although Wells tied them 0-0 Friday, and Grant (6-0) topped Cleveland (4-2-2) 2-1 on Friday.
Lincoln has outscored teams 26-4 in wins, and tied Mountainside and Wells.
Jesuit was 6-0-1 in boys play. Sandy of the Mt. Hood Conference had a 4-1-1 record. Estacada has a 4-1-2 record in Class 4A play.
Mountainside beat Barlow 2-0 in girls play. The Mavericks lost to Jesuit in the 2019 6A finale, and the teams play April 1.
Jesuit was 6-0-1 in girls play. Centennial (4-2) has a good record among Mt. Hood teams. St. Mary's Academy has a 5-0 record. In PIL play, after Friday, Lincoln (6-1) and Grant (3-1-1) have been solid, so far.
Central Catholic started 7-0 in the first season under coach Kayla Hambley. It's the first year in more than 30 years that Rick Lorenz hasn't coached the Rams.
OSAA Today's John Tawa recently featured the Rams and Hambley, who said "I feel so fortunate to have been mentored (for 10 years) by Rick Lorenz as a coach in his program. Many of the coaches on our staff have been coaching at Central Catholic for 30-plus years, and having them by my side to guide me through the transition and offer support has been a huge blessing."
The Rams beat Barlow this week in front of home fans (yes, fans). Hambley said having parents, siblings and others in the gym "brought tears to my eyes."
Central Catholic was 7-0 after this week's play; Sandy (5-2) and Gresham (4-3) also had winning records among Mt. Hood Conference teams.
Entering Friday's PIL play, Lincoln was 5-0; Grant was 4-1 after splitting two matches Friday (losing to Wells, beating Roosevelt).
Metro League power Jesuit was 6-0.
Corbett started 6-2 in Class 4A play.
