Senior Devin Gotchall, sophomore Cohen Schleich win first-place matches as Rangers shine on mat

Estacada wrestling had a strong showing on the mat this past weekend en route to a third-place finish at the OSAA 4A Special District 1 wrestling championships Saturday, Feb. 12, at Molalla High School.

The two top performing Rangers were senior Devin Gotchall, who beat Will Hofmann of Astoria in the first-place match with a fall in 1:48, and sophomore Cohen Schleich who downed Baird Hagerty of Tillamook with a fall in 4:59.
