Driver receives DUII after driving car into ravine in Eagle Creek
A woman has been cited on a DUII charge after driving her car into a ravine in Eagle Creek.
Around 11:12 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office responded to an incomplete 911 call from Kristin Ann Madden. Madden told police her vehicle was in a ravine but was not aware of her specific location. Prior to the incident, she had been at the Eagle Creek Saloon.
Deputies responded to the general area of the call and located tire tracks leaving the road near Southeast Heiple Road and Southeast Samuels Road.
Madden was extracted from her vehicle and transported to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. She was later issued a citation in lieu of custody for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
The Estacada Rural Fire District, American Medical Response and Clackamas Fire District also responded to the scene. Life Flight was placed on standby.
