Oregon is seeing record temperatures this summer with days on end of days that are over 90 degrees, and it doesn't look like they will end anytime soon. Your air conditioner has a big job to do and you need to take good care of it so it works well. Here are some tips on how to take care of your AC system.

Clogged, dirty filters make your HVAC system work harder, and you'll see an increase in your energy bill, too. Check the filters every one to two months and either change or clean the filter.

Remember to venture outside and check the outdoor unit regularly. Make sure there are no tree branches, leaves, grass clippings, or other plant debris or buildup around the outdoor unit. In addition, rinse off the top of the unit and clear a couple of feet of space around it to make sure optimal air flow is achieved.

Have your HVAC system checked by our team of professionals at Hybrid Heating & Air Conditioning at least once a year. We will look at your machine to make sure there are no hidden issues that could cause an expensive and inconvenient breakdown. We will also clean the filters, make sure the machine is working with maximum energy efficiency, and answer any questions you may have.

Our team of HVAC professionals bring years of hands-on expertise helping customers get their air conditioning systems working at their peak! Contact us today to maintain, install, or repair a variety of HVAC equipment.
