Scotties Auto Body

Tony Kind, the estimator at Scotties Auto Body has this advice if you have been in a collision.

If one of the vehicles is leaking fluids or someone has been injured, call 911.

If no fluids are leaking or no injuries have occurred, make sure the vehicles are moved off the road and you need to exchange information. This includes a driver's license number, license plate number, name, address, phone number and insurance company and policy number. Tony suggests taking photos with your phone of your car, their car, their license and insurance information. A photo doesn't lie and this way you won't forget anything. You will be able to forward everything to the correct person and almost everyone has a smart phone these days.

If the collision is their fault, call their insurance company. If it is your fault, call your insurance company.

If you are fortunate enough to be insured by a company that lists Scotties as one of their direct repair shops, Tony will write your estimate, schedule your repairs, schedule the rental car, he will do everything that needs to be done. If you aren't, he can still write an estimate and email it to the insurance company.

Scotties Auto Body can handle all your collision repair needs. If you have any questions about estimates or what to do after a collision give Tony Kind a call at 503-648-4275.
