Time For January Resolutions
Yes, it is January again and you have decided to really get in shape this time. The truth is that 73% of people who make a fitness resolution in January will fail. But you will be part of the 17% that succeed!
Nate and the staff at The Gym are pulling for you! Follow these tips and help your self get in shape in the new year.
Keep your goals small. Aim to lose 5 or even 1 pound instead of 25. You will achieve your goals more often and that will motivate you to keep going. Don't aim to exercise 7 days a week and set yourself up or failure. Determine to exercise every other day and you have a much better chance of meeting your goal.
Make fitness a priority. Schedule The Gym time just like you go to work or vacuum.
Keep company. Have a resolution buddy who will hold you accountable and maybe compete with you. It is more fun to exercise with someone and it's good to have someone to talk to.
Mix it up. People who modify their workouts every 2 weeks enjoyed them more and stuck with them. This will also help you achieve your goals and keeps you challenged which keeps the old body from adapting to your workout.
