A Letter from the Adminstrator of the Beehive
We appreciate your patience as we evaluate the ongoing news and updates surrounding the spread of COVID-19 and adapt new protocols and systems to keep our residents safe and healthy at the Beehive.
The Beehive has received instructions from various state and federal agencies and groups regarding requirements and restrictions for long term care facilities. Based on the mandates and guidance we have received, and in an effort to keep our staff and residents safe and we are enacting the following screening protocols:
Visitors will be limited to one friend or family member over age 12 per resident, per day, who is essential for the patient's emotional well-being and care. All visitors will be screened and must meet in the resident's room only to avoid contact with others. Our temporary visiting hours are 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. weekdays and 1-3 p.m. on weekends.
We will be screening each employee prior to each shift according to CDC and DOH screening protocols.
As always, we will monitor each resident for any signs of illness. This includes daily screening for COVID-19 symptoms. We are taking all reasonable precautions we can to keep our community clean and sanitized. We will do our best to keep you apprised of any updates at the Beehive. Thank you for your patience as we address the unprecedented event. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at 503-357-6409.
