The Beehive is keeping your loved ones safe, happy and engaged.
These are difficult times and at the Forest Grove Beehive we are doing our best to keep our residents safe, happy and engaged.
All our staff and residents are screened for COVID-19 symptoms daily. We are in close communication with local and state health officials to ensure that we are taking all the appropriate steps to prevent the spread of the virus.
Residents have been staying busy with different activities every day. We have made lighted pictures and watercolor dancing dolls during crafting every Wednesday. The evening movie after dinner remains popular with our residents Sunday through Friday. Saturdays there is a movie matinee.
Our residents have been harvesting vegetables straight from the garden and are enjoying them in our healthy meals. We used some of the harvest to make Artichoke Zucchini Bites during our International Cooking classes at 1 p.m. on Tuesdays. In spite of social distancing, our residents are still able to have happy hour as we go room to room.
While the Beehive is not permitting visitors per the direction of DHS and the local health department, we invite you to take advantage of our Virtual Visits which allow you to connect with your loved ones via Zoom video conference. Just call at 503-357-6409 to schedule a Virtual Visit.
We are still accepting new residents and invite you to take a virtual tour of the Beehive. Our website at caringplaces.com is a great source for what is happening at the Beehive. Listen to blog, see the daily calendar and photos of what we have been up to. The Beehive can be found on Facebook and YouTube.
