Brett A. Bryson

Air Force Airman Brett A. Bryson graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.

Bryson is the grandson of Sharon Bryson of Valleycrest Way in Forest Grove and a 2012 graduate of Forest Grove High School. The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete this training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the community college of the Air Force.

Jason R. Morgan

Army National Guard Private Jason R. Morgan has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

The nine weeks of training included studies in the Army mission, history, tradition and core values and physical fitness, as well as instruction in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches and field training exercises.

He is the son of Justin Morgan of 32nd Place in Forest Grove.

Colin Ronek

Army Private Colin Ronek has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.

The training included drill and ceremonies, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history, core values and basic combat skills education.

Ronek is the son of Anna Ronek of Somera Drive in Forest Grove and Anthony Ronek of Canby, and is a 2012 graduate of Forest Grove High School.
