No one was injured in the reported incident, which took place over the weekend.

The North Plains Police Department is asking for anyone with information to help in its investigation of a reported drive-by shooting that took place in North Plains just before midnight Saturday, June 2.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office and North Plains Police Department responded to the incident after a caller reported that an unknown subject drove by and shot several times into a house on Northwest Highland Court.

No one was injured in the shooting. Police said they do not believe there is an active threat to the public.

Reached for comment Monday, June 4, North Plains Police Chief Jesse Baker said he was unable to release any additional information about the case.

"It's actively being investigated right now by not only our agency but also the Washington County Sheriff's Office," Baker said.

The North Plains police and Sheriff's Office are asking anyone with information to call the non-emergency number at 503-629-0111.
